Going going gone!
"The Gatekeeper" Kelly Klein is the current Women Of Honor World champion. She is defending the title in every match. Her opponent is a newcomer, "Wild Thing" Rockelle Vaughn. She is a trainee of Booker T's Reality Of Wrestling in Texas, and she has an affinity for baseball.
Kelly Klein has matured a lot as a wrestler over the years. She's the centerpiece of the Women Of Honor division, and rightfully so. She's one of the most popular and well-established women on the roster. Kelly has a main event worthy look featuring a great MMA or Boxing like entourage entrance. She has a lot of star power.
Despite being an unknown, Rockelle Vaughn showed a lot of promise in this match. You can quickly tell that she has solid fundamentals and a lot of charisma. Rockelle controlled most of this match, and she felt at home in the spotlight. She is someone to keep an eye out for in the coming years.
At a bit under 5 minutes, this was a pretty short match. They managed to put together a cohesive and well-paced match in that time. There were some flaws. For example, I felt that Rockelle's baseball based offense felt out of place in a serious championship match. I would have liked to see a little more intensity in a title match, but that's not the usual Women Of Honor in-ring style. Overall, the good parts outweigh the flaws. This match got a nice reaction from the crowd, and I felt like it accomplished its goal. This isn't a must-see match, but it's a fine way to spend a few minutes.
